The movie OTTAM tells the story of Asir, A young ambitious man from a small village in West Bengal. He migrates to Kerala in search of a better life. As a migrant, Asir realizes the odds of rejections and unfairness in the society that the migrant workers face. He himself becomes a victim of a biased section and roles into its consequences. The movie explores the vulnerability the migrant workers face. Some are brave enough to survive and some to torment themselves with harshness of the society.
